Lets play the GAME

Hello readers, almost all of us are familiar with this proverbAll work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Its shows along with work play are also important in life. I am sure we all love to play  games whether it’s an indoor games or outdoor games.

Games play a vital role in building once personality. We learn how to have fun, how to be creative, how to be competitive, hard work, celebrate our wins & accept the defeat. But do you know any game where there is no rule. If there is any kind of game where there is no rule I bet it will be a big bore.

What the use of playing a game if we never going to win or we never get out or get chance to bowling sometime like we get the chance to bat.
Rules are the soul of a game. The rules create challenges and make a game more interesting. Similarly, Life is also like a game and if we want to play it well and enjoy it thoroughly we need to know its rules and play according to it.
So today I am going to tell you the top ten rules of the game of life. Hope you enjoy this game.

In a game we can’t control how our opponent will play but we can control how we will play. We have to give our best shot to win the game. Likewise, in the game of life also we should always try to give our best no matter what the circumstances or the situation.

“Do your best and let life do the rest”

2) SMART Goal

In the game of football the player knows his goal very well and he continuously try to hit the ball in the goal post. Now, image if there is no goal post or the player doesn’t know where he takes the ball then what will happen?? His all energy is just a waste.
The same rule is applicable in the game of life; we should have a specific goal or purpose in our life if we want to live a meaningful life. But sometime we make a goal which is unreasonable or unachievable. For eg. A person who is good in writing set a goal to become a singer his goal doesn’t make any sense.
To be clear about your goal use SMART Goal Method.
S – Specific
M – Measurable

A-   Achievable

R- Realistic
T- Time bound

“If you don’t know where you are going you will probably end up somewhere else.”

3) LBW
In the game of cricket, the batsman gets out when his leg comes between the wicket (LBW). On the other hand in the game of life we get out when we don’t cross that line which comes between our will. Many times in life people try to make us do what they think is right not what we want to do. Everyone around us wants to make us someone else. But if we want to save ourselves from getting out we should listen our heart & follow our dreams.

“ Don’t allow others to live your life.”

4) Rule of SIMPLICITY

In most games we don’t need much stuff to play it. Game of life also ruled by this law. You don’t need a garden full of roses to admire its beauty & feel its beautiful smell a single rose can also do the same. Try to make everything simple.
“ The simplest things are often the truest.”

5) Know The PITCH

In cricket it says, “One get better chance to win if one knows how’s the pitch”. Similarly, if we want to win in life we should know our self more than others. What’s my strength, what’s my weakness, how can I get best from my situation etc.

“He that knows himself knows others”.

6) Create the TEAM

No match can win by a single man it’s a team effort. In life you can do anything but not everything no one can go alone so create your team. The key is to keep company with people who uplift you whose presence calls forth your best.

“There is no ‘i’ in team but is in win”

Every wise coach tells this thing to his player. Play each match, as it’s your final & last match. I’ts human psychology when a man knows that it’s his final chance to give his best & show his highest self he ready to give everything he has. Similarly, no one knows when life going to finish which day going to be the last day of life. So why not live it fully.

“If you live each day as if it was your last day, someday you’ll most certainly be right.”

Be ready for penalties. In game of football if a player does something against the rule of the game he is bound to pay penalty. In life also we should always be ready for any kind of penalty. Sorrow, disappointment, hurt, troubles are some form of penalty.
But we should not take it in a negative way rather than we should think that these penalties  comes to teach us from our  mistake & remind us that we are here to play big in right way.

“Price what is you pay, value what is you get.”

9) Referee
Referee or umpire decision is the final decision in any game whether we like it or not we have to accept it. Similarly, in life many times we know we do our best, follow the rule but we got out……Life’s decision is the final decision. From our point of view we feel life is unfair with us but we forget we are not here to understand it we are here to live it.

“ When I think I have all the answers, life comes and changes all questions”

10) Enjoy
The essence of any game is having fun & enjoy it while you play it. Don’t always think about  the win or getting out in the middle of the game. Enjoy it. In life also don’t take everything too serious including your self because no one takes you too seriously when you take yourself too seriously.

“Life may not be the party we hope for but while we’re here we should dance”

So play it, enjoy it, love it & live it 🙂
“Life is the game that must be played”
